Who We Are

KW Craft Studio LLC operates Dosey (the “Service”). In this policy, “we,” “our,” and “us” mean KW Craft Studio LLC.

What We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the Service:

• Account information — your first name, email address, and a hashed password (never stored in plain text); when you use “remember me,” a hashed sign-in token; when you reset your password, a short-lived reset token; and when you create an account, a record that you accepted our terms and this policy.
• Household data — a household display name, temperature preferences for your family, and join codes you generate so other caregivers can link to the same household.
• Child health data — your children's names, birthdays, weights, logged medicine doses (including optional notes and custom medicine names), scheduled prescriptions (names, amounts, and timing), and temperature readings. This data is entered by you and used solely to provide the app's tracking features.
• Push notification subscriptions — only if you opt in, we store browser push subscription details (endpoint and keys) to send prescription reminders. You can stop new notifications in your browser or device settings.
• Technical data — when you use Dosey, our hosting environment may create standard server logs (such as timestamps, IP address, and browser type) for security and reliability. We use essential cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in and protect against abuse.

How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to operate Dosey: household sharing, tracking medicine doses, monitoring safe redose windows, storing prescriptions and schedules, logging temperatures, signing you in, sending transactional email (such as password resets), and—if you enable them—prescription reminders by push notification. We do not sell your data, serve advertisements, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Data Storage & subprocessors

Information you enter is stored primarily in a PostgreSQL database on cloud infrastructure we configure for this app (for example, a hosted application and database provider). To run the Service we also rely on vendors that process limited data on our instructions—for example hosting, outbound email for password resets, and (when you enable push) infrastructure used to deliver web push notifications. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or data brokers, and we do not use your information for behavioral ad profiling across other sites or apps.

Typography for the Service is loaded via Google Fonts; your browser contacts Google when those font files load, which may disclose your IP address to Google according to Google's practices.

Children's Privacy

We designed Dosey for parents and caregivers. Children do not create accounts or directly interact with the app. Health information about minors is supplied by an adult caregiver under the household account. We comply with COPPA and do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Your Rights & Data Deletion

You may delete personal information we hold through the Service: you can permanently delete your account and associated records at any time. If you are the only member of your household, this will hard-delete all children, doses, fever readings, and prescription records tied to that household. If other members remain, only your personal account access is removed.

Push Notifications

We send prescription dose reminders only if you grant permission in a browser that supports web push. You can revoke permission in your browser or device settings, which stops new notifications from being shown. We may delete stored push subscription records when a subscription expires or delivery fails. Deleting your account also removes your push subscriptions from our systems.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (for example, a notice in the app). Your continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised policy.
